Professional, prompt and price conscious. James is the most honest vehicle technician you can find. Performs "what you brought it in for", and if he discovers other issues, will call you, update you on his diagnosis, and provide approximate costs associated with repair.

Been taking my vehicles to Car Clinic for well over ten years now. James is the most honest and professional mechanic i have ever met and thats saying a lot; we all know how mechanics can be sometimes. Never had a problem they couldnt figure out and although somtimes the repair can be expensive, i have always found them to be the best priced on island.

I brought my car to the shop for three issues: it was shutting down, had an engine oil leak, and needed brake repairs. Throughout the process, they kept me informed about the work being done and the associated costs. I ended up paying over $600, only to be told that they couldn't identify why the car was shutting down. They claimed they had to clean the engine oil to find the problem, but they still couldn't pinpoint it. Additionally, they fixed the brakes. When they notified me that my car was ready for pickup, I discovered that the steering wheel was extremely hard to turn, making it impossible to drive. They had damaged the steering wheel rack, causing a leak. Shockingly, they refused to take responsibility and insisted that the steering wheel rack was already broken when I brought in the car. This is untrue, as the steering wheel was fine; I had initially brought the car in for an engine oil leak, not a steering wheel issue. To make matters worse, they provided no solution or offer to tow my car home. The issue with the damaged steering wheel was not communicated to me before I went to pick up my car. This entire experience was terrible, and I will never go back to this shop again. Very disappointed with the dishonesty.

Very friendly owner and staff member BUT if you planning to do inspection here to buy a car, this place is not a good idea! Car clinic will buy the car even they don't need it or don't want it. Its spoiler place for car business!

Honest, great service and always dependable

I own two cars and I've been going to this shop for maintenance and for occassional repairs. The owner seemed nice at first everytime I set an appointment, until one time I have to call to let them know that the repair they did to my car didn't fix the issue and have to return for a recheck, which in my opinion normally happens. However after hearing that, the owner's tone just completely changed, from being nice to complete rudeness. I was trying to let it pass and even tried to set an appointment with him but he just hang up the phone on me. Very, very rude. You really need to work on your temper, buddy or else you'll start losing customers. You just lost one, or in my case, two. I will not come back to this shop ever again.

Got there at 7:33am had an appointment for dawg bar link change. My car was taken after 15min and service was done in about 20min. When I realized they changed yhe oil and filter. Went back, explained that wasn't the service I needed. The car was taken immediately back in. Great customer service, great job, much cheaper than the others in the market (less than half of the price from The main shop in Eastern Av.) Thanks Mr. Greg. Impressive customer service, price and quality.

Had a really loud an clunking sound with my brakes. Took my vehicle in first thing in the morning, I was grateful that someone was there before 730 to receive it. They fixed the issue by noon the same day. price was reasonable. I picked the car up and the problem was fixed as expected. I always take my vehicles to car clinic regardless of the make and recommend them to my friends and family.

Always highly professional with exceptional service. A company you can really rely on. James always goes above and beyond to help get my vehicle fixed if needed and I use them regularly for my services.
